Valiant soldiers living under strict adherence to disciplined rules and living conditions, they guarded pilgrims on their way to the Holy Land and enjoyed special protections under the Pope until 1307 when skullduggery at the Vatican and numerous European nobles set against the Templars and their 180+ years of service. Our TEMPLAR suit of armor is a tribute to their service . This full sized adult suit of armor has been crafted in steel with brass accents, standing over 6 feet high with an additional 5" wood base, steel shield, and Hablard 'pole axe'. The helmet is a 'Great Helm', of the period as used by the Templars in their middle eastern bastions and island fortresses. A chain mail head coif is present as well.
