Magazine Bans: Current as of 05-10-2023

California: 10rd Including Links - OK TO FFL with High Cap mag permit

Colorado: 15rd detachable or fixed magazines. This includes links and belts

• No detachable shotgun mag over 8 rounds or a fixed shotgun mag over 28 inches
• This does not apply to tubular 22 mags or tubular mags for lever action guns

Connecticut: All MAG, CLIP, BELT, FEEDING DEVICE have to ship to FFL or C&R

Delaware: Any feeding device over 17 rd including links

Hawaii: Pistol Mags over 10rd

Illinois:

• Chicago 10rd
• Aurora 10rd
• Cicero 20rd
• Cook County 10rd
• Franklin Park 20rd

Maryland: 10rd Including Links - OK to FFL, OK Retired Police, OK Police for personal use

Massachusetts: 10 rd - Hi Cap OK to FFL

New Jersey: 10rd Including Links - OK to FFL with state license

New York State: 10rd fixed or detachable - This includes links, belts or stripper clips - 22 tubular mags are exempt

• NYC: 5rd Rifle and Shotgun, Pistol 10rd

Oregon: 10rd

Rhode Island: 10rd

Vermont: 10rd for Rifles 15rd for Pistols

Washington: 10 rd
