Was ok for surplus as described however the heat shields came detached and were severely beat up. With a little work they will fit but I wasn’t expecting them to be detached

I've used a good bit of A2 hand guards in my time. These, while having a great price, might not be worth it to some. I'm not certain if these are mil spec, but the set I received did not fit into my standard A2 Handguard ring. The front end of each Handguard half had 3 little "support" tabs which I have never seen on A2 hand guards before that prevented me from installing them correctly. After figuring that out, I ended up dremeling them off and the Handguard installed as normal. Also, the "heat shield" on the inside of the Handguard is cheap sheet metal that fell out on installation. I was quite disappointed. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone unless you're handy with a Dremel tool. Only thing good about it is they are priced right.
