Very strong Grayish canvas with solid and well riveted aluminum hardware in the old style with strong springs on the release latches. Great for building your load bearing Belt/Y strap system, but our favorite use is converting it to be a rifle sling by removing the single back strap leaving you with positive locking buckles on the rifle swivels and a central point of the sling that does not kink since it swivels on a central aluminum ring and swings to the perpendicular angle with no effort and with some padding to boot!
