$110.00

WW2 Pacific campaign rucksack used by both the U.S. Marines and U.S. Army starting in 1943. Very strong 'tent' canvas in the 'Frog Skin' camo pattern. Features one main , and one tent flap compartment, similar to the earlier Model 1942 U.S. Army rucksack.  A very rare backpack in today's surplus circles, this one will save you a bundle!  A perfect tactical stuff bag for your camping gear , for hauling serious gear in your truck, or using as a 3-day expedition pack.  Also perfect for building a reenactor's uniform/gear display or impression.

    Camo Jungle Pack

Overall, the pack is built very study, however I would like to point out a few things that could be improved:
    1. The straps, binding fabric, and all parts that are the khaki color are borderline yellow when out of the box, a darker shade of khaki or OD3 would be better.
    2. The shoulder straps could be a little longer, and the material used is heavier than originals.
    3. The camouflage pattern, while still the typical frogskin camo used by the Army and Marines in WWII, it could be better, I’d happily send pictures of originals to better show off the colors and pattern.
Otherwise this is a decent reproduction of the jungle pack, but I hope to see improvements in the future.
