Adopted in 1953 , the 'Mitchell' camouflage became the standard camouflage cover of USMC helmets which continued well into the 1980s.  A staple of the Vietnam era helmet, the pattern was a broad leaf pattern , two sided for 'beach' or arid surroundings and also the reverse side with green forest leaf patterns.  Mitchell camo found use with special forces like the 5th Special Forces Group, and in uniforms for certain indigenous troops under control of SF/MAC-SOG, and Central Intelligence. Could be found in trial use by other countries and many of the uniform and gear items were made by special order in places like Guam, Okinawa, and Taiwan. The U.S. produced Mitchell camouflage pup tents, helmet covers, and cargo straps amongst other items . We sell the material by the Meter in lengths @40", and the width is about 57 inches.  Continuous lengths can be ordered for multiple meter requirements. This camo is hard to find and we only have @90 meters remaining at the time of this entry, so order promptly as we are not sure that we will be able to obtain it again.
