The earliest of the Vietnam era 20 rd. Magazine pouches for the M16.  Originally furnished with the Air Force #601 & 604,  M16 rifles sent to Vietnam for the U.S. Air Force security teams.  2 single 20rd. Mag pouches are sided by side on a type of processed canvas with flaps that secure with lift the dot snaps. A belt slips through the back of the pouch set (opens for up to a 3-3/4" wide belt) . The lift the dot snaps are slightly larger than the original ones as we could not find a manufacturer for the original small lift the dot snaps and the material we have used is a similar canvas in O.D. Color , but not exactly the same as the process used in the 1960s. Nevertheless, they fit perfectly, same profile, and are excellent for field use or using in static Vietnam displays. Period marking appear inside one flap.
