Evolved out of the 1870s sword & pistol belts, this late version carried the Army  into the final years of the Indian Wars and into the Spanish American War. The Leather belt is 2" in width and adjustable out to @52 inches. The Holster is U.S. embossed and could handle the older Navy & Army Revolvers as well as the 1893 Colt Revolver in .38 caliber.  The Cartridge Box was an iteration that could hold the Krag Rifle ammunition as well as the .30-06 cartridge for the Springfield Rifle and was known as the McKeever Cartridge Box, and this one has U.S. embossing and also the cartouche of Watervliet Arsenal . The buckle and hasp are solid brass. The McKeever cartridge box holds 20 rds., and on its own, works well as an ammo pouch that you can wear to the field for hunting trips. The leather is very strong and wears well with time and rugged use.

Set consists of:  Leather Belt w/ Buckle, Cartridge Box, & Holster.
