The S&W model 745 is a single-action variant of the Second Generation model 645 designed for use in IPSC style competition events. Straight backstrap, adjustable trigger-stop, stainless steel slide hammer and trigger. Production of this model occurred between 1986 and 1990. It was a limited-run firearm, with only about 2,700 units manufactured during those years, making it a relatively rare piece from that era.
