FN Browning Model 1935 9mm Pistol with Holster and Capture Papers Serial #24983. Pre-war pistol in very good condition. Retains 80% of its original finish. Wood grips are in great shape with strong checkering and minimal wear. Low serial number suggests pre-war production. Pre-war models typically feature a tangent rear sight, a slot for a shoulder stock on the backstrap, and a thumbprint recess on the slide. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Pistols come with original holster and 2 original magazines. Also included are the original capture papers from 1945. A true collectors piece. See pictures for more details.

Pistol in picture is the pistol you will receive.

Browning Hi-Power pistols were used during World War II by both Allied and Axis forces. After occupying Belgium in 1940, German forces took over the FN plant. German troops subsequently used the Hi-Power, having assigned it the designation Pistole 640(b) ("b" for belgisch, "Belgian"). Examples produced by FN in Belgium under German occupation bear German inspection and acceptance marks, or Waffenamts, such as WaA613. In German service, it was used mainly by Waffen-SS and Fallschirmjäger personnel.

As with all surplus firearms they should be checked by a professional gunsmith.
