The M16A1 was the standard military rifle from the early 1960's through the mid 1980's. The M16A1 replaced the M14 and M1 Carbine and was later replaced by the M16A2. Variations continue to be used today by military forces around the world.

Veterans group to use as a Battle Cross in a ceremony of Fallen Soldier. Everything will seem to work fine except we'll need to modify a bayonet to fit it. Otherwise, excellent item.
