    The part I received was fairly well worn and showed some file marks. I wanted this part to modify into a Holbrook Devise to make my Garand operate like the M14. For my purposes, it worked fine after the modification, smoothing the rough surfaces and bluing. For the price, it was well worth it to me despite the appearance.
