M1 Garand Blank Adapter G.I.

I just submitted a 3-star review and would like to amend it but don't see that option. I will say the reason for the larger OD near the base is to likely accommodate the threads to screw on to rifle but the ones I have (and others) don't seem to work on multiple different rifles. either gas plug OD or the BFA's OD, needs to be smaller. Otherwise, a great product. May just be mine???

As for the BFA, it appears as ordered and nothing noted negatively quality wise. But design wise, it doesn't allow gas plug to be installed due to the OD of the base of BFA. Why this is the size it is, is beyond me? I see no use or reason for it.
I can make it work, either by grinding or turning down in lathe, the small portion of the diameter at the base, but why it's made that way is beyond me??? Otherwise, excellent.
