Post war USGI Garand barrels Bores are in good to very good condition. May have pitting under the handguard area. These are usable barrels. Restore your gun with these original barrels

Definition of “Very Good”
I think Sarco and I disagree on the definition. The barrel was manufactured in 1965. The ME was over 3 (my gauge only goes to 3). In over 40 years of being in the Army I’ve never encountered a dirtier barrel. It was caked with carbon. Like caked to the point the grooves were filled. I tried cleaning it for a few hours but gave up. Just know what you’re getting.
