Barrel was pitted, in worse shape than the stock barrel.

Extremely pleased; 100% blue with pristine bore and perfect condition sight base. "Bullet Test" shows 6.06mm between muzzle and case rim.

Purchased three barrels - in excellent condition under the cosmoline. Having the sight bases already installed is a major convenience as well.

NO. 1 MK 3 ENFIELD BARREL

Posted by JAMES LARIMER on Oct 15th 2020

Ordered and received the 2 barrels promptly via UPS. Both barrels are in excellent condition, 1 barrel appears brand new and unfired, the other appears slightly used possibly shot a few times but regardless I'm completely satisfied and thanks SARCO.

Replaced one on 1912 dated Enfield number 1 mark 3 . It is now shooting 1.5" groups am ordering one more for 1915 BSA made rifle that key holes the target at 50 yards. Barrel that I Received was like new. I have 5 of these rifles the barrel I received from Sarco is the tightest shooting of the lot.

    Brand new old stock barrels

These barrels were absolutely great. The cosmoline that they were packed in kept them perfect.

    Replacement Barrel

Posted by Mark K on Jun 8th 2020

I picked up a SMLE that had a completely trashed bore and would be unsafe to shoot. I managed to get one of the last barrels in stock. It was a post-independence Indian barrel without a date or a serial number. It came slathered in cosmoline, which is a good thing! Underneath it was practically brand new and had a pristine bore. I sent it with my barrelled action for rebarrelling and can't wait to shoot it!
