JPE 1911 Style Stripped Pistol Frame GRADE 2

These are JPE, Pomona CA 1911 style stripped frames that are grade 2. Frames will have grind marks, welded spots, scratches and other issues. Frames are being sold as grade 2 and not as a working frame. Pictures show some of the issues associated with these frames. Frames may be in white or blue, no choice. As with all surplus firearms they should be checked by a professional gunsmith before firing. 

JPE was an importer in Pomona, CA that supplied 1911 frames to Brolin Arms having JPE as serial number prefix. When Brolin went out of business, the remaining frames were purchased by us. JPE is Jay's (J's?) Pacific Enterprises and as they were primarily an importer, it is speculated that the frames may have been made by Armscor in the Phillipines or that JPE got them 80% done and did the final machining.
