Does your 1911 need a more classic touch or a newer look, but you’re not sure what to do? A simple upgrade with a pair of our 1911 grips will give it a new look and will not alter the performance of the gun. It’s also one of the easiest upgrades you can make.

GRP162-WAL: These brand-new hardwood 1911 grips are made in the original WWI style with the "Diamond" pattern checkering. 1911 wood grips may not be quite as tough as phenolic or modern synthetics like G10 but wood has timeless appeal. Give your .45 Auto the classic look and feel of the original Colt 1911 design!

GRP162-BLK ALUM: These 1911 pistol grips are precision cut out of strong aluminum and have an excellent feel.

GRP162-PEARL: Made of composite pearl and will give you the classic pearl look without the fragile nature of the real thing.

GRP162-PAKKA: Made of Pakka wood, these 1911 wood grips are attractively colorful, and this composite wood is strong and requires minimal maintenance.

GRP162-RED G10: Classic G10 style grips.

    1911 grips

Lived up to the description and previous reviews. They DO require some fitting and they ARE dry. I will add that the Wlanut grips have "splinters" in the checking and around the screw holes. Although this was expected, truth in advertising should also mention "unfinished" and require some sanding and finishing.

Great replacement for plastic panels that came with the pistol. I used teak oil and they really look good.

Looks great but have to trim back of 1 grip to get proper fit.

    1911 walnut grips

Nice, tight grained walnut....well executed checkering.......They are 'dry'\, but a 50/50 mix of linseed and turpentine takes care of that in short order.......they will weather in nicely on my beat up old 1911.

Pleased with the grips but I had to do a small amount of sanding on the left grip to get clearance for the slide stop.
