Model 1935 German helmet with rolled edge, metal banded liner with 8 tongue leather liner and leather chinstrap assembly mounted by 3 rivets on the 1.7-1.9mm thick steel shell in German ‘Feldgrau’ Afrika Korps Tan color. Helmet fits 7-1/4" to 7-5/8" head size (large). New, well made and great for static displays or reenactments. We have purchased the remaining stores of these from ‘Kamabee Keep’ along with various German helmet decals which we are using to provide one set of helmet decals with each helmet at no charge as long as supplies last. M35 helmet with decal - Sorry, no choice on decals as they are quite limited.

    Outstanding helmet

This helmet is heavy duty thick steel even stamped correctly and I have a giant head and it fit perfect if your head is small I’d get a medium but very impressed with the helmet only disappointment was the decals they send I’d rather have stick on instead of the water type but helmet is worth every penny

    Decent Reproduction

This a good, decently made reproduction WWII German helmet. This is actually a M40 model, as the air vent holes are stamped, not riveted. The build is quite good. The shell being made of quality steel, adding a nice heft. The shape of the shell, including the dome, skirt, and visor are very good lending to an authentic look. The liner and chinstrap are of good quality as well and made of nice leather. The color is slightly darker than the tan shown in the picture, the matte paint closer resembling flat dark earth. Which actually looks better in my opinion. The helmet deviates on a few details though. The vent holes are noticeably too small. And the liner, while securely fastened, does not sit entirely flush against the inside of the shell. Additionally, despite arriving wrapped in plastic with a desiccant packet, one of the helmets (I purchased two) had a few minor rust spots around the liner pins and on the inside of the shell. The other helmet had no such visible rust. Each one arrived with the a set of SS death head decals.

Overall, I am happy with my purchase. Despite a few issues as noted above, these nicely built helmets are good examples of a reproduction WWII stahlhelm and will make a nice addition to anyone's reenacting wardrobe or static display. Not to mention the price is the best I've seen around, can't beat that!
