Original Bulgarian steel helmet with SS decals as worn by approximately 500-600 specially trained troops under the direction of the Waffen SS. These troops fought some very difficult battles until the Soviet ‘juggernaut’ overran them and persuaded Bulgaria to assist the allied efforts. Steel helmet with leather liner and chinstrap. Adorned with a pair of new SS wartime decals.
