A fair amount of dead primers

Posted by David on May 7th 2021

I'm disappointed in my order. I've shot a couple of boxes, and it seems like 1 in every 3 or 4 has been a dud. I have 2 pistols, I've done second and 3rd strikes on each dud, and have reloaded into a magazine and tried the other gun.

I've had zero issues with a) new loads from Steinel, and b) 9x19 Luger ammo with the right barrel. Good primer hits.
These would be worth it for less than half the price, but for 45 cents a rd and corrosive to boot, it's a big letdown.

    Got a case

Posted by Michael Turner on Apr 21st 2020

I ordered 1000 rounds and they shipped it to me in the original wooden case which was really neat looking. All boxes in the case where in mint condition and there was no corrosion on the ammo in any of the boxes I did a spot inspection on. The only thing I needed to do was take the screws out of the case and hit them with some balistol. They where showing a hint of rust from sitting so long. Can't complain about that in my free wooden case though :) . Have not had a chance to shoot any of it yet, but looks good to go.
