WW1 Gas Grenade Model Mk2, as used by the U.S. Army and U.S. Marines, engaged in European trench warfare. Also used later in the Northern Russia Expedition of 1919. Over 250,000 were shipped to the European theater. The grenade once ignited , spewed gas from Stannic Chloride or CN gas and was useful in settling down into the trenches or bunkers that were to be vacated by the enemy. These grenades are fully inert, new, and made of steel. Full size too ! This is the first time that they have been available, and we have a very limited supply of them. A curiosity of the Great War and very rare these days !
