Solidly crafted for combating the elements of 'mother nature' & 'self defense'. This knife is truly our favorite with its imposing profile, substantive heft, and standoff distance with a blade over 11 inches long and overall length of 16.5 inches. Produced with 3Cr13 stainless steel and a master honed edge, the slight curvature of the blade provides a very good coefficient of directional thrust and penetration to weight ratio. Actually throws well too but its intended ergonomic design is for thrusting, hacking, and self defense. The blade alone is imposing and lends to a favorable 'standoff' distance for those unpleasant situations, whether endangered by man or beast. Grip is slightly angled for optimal hold and finished with polished rosewood grips and a hole near the pommel for adding a lanyard or strap if you are so inclined. A 'master' defense knife !
