Sten Web Sling

The sling webbing was a nice color, but the hardware was not correct as pictured, and thin metal. The picture shows oval metal ring. Mine was half moon shaped and wasn't wide enough to fit through the hook. The hook was just a bent nail with a sharp point. I had to make up a new fitting in the correct shape to get it to pass through the other end.

These are quality slings, but they are not original. The ones I receiver were marked LSA Co. 1939. The canvas is pretty thin but still solid, and the metal hardware is nice but very different from the hardware on original slings. It's easy to see when comparing to an original Sten sling that these are clear reproductions. I wish Sarco would have stated that in the description.
