SPRINGFIELD RIFLE LEATHER KERR SLING

This was the most popular sling a ‘sportsman’ could get in the early part of the last century. Expensive to make, this leather sling sported the best brass latch and adjustment system of the day and even the military contracted for the brass Kerr ‘NOBUCKL’ system for their canvas slings from WW1 thru WW2. Fits loads of rifles and will last a lifetime of use. High quality and a classic! New.

    Not a bad sling at all.

    Takes a while to figure out how to install the doggone thing but after just a few hours invested, sprinkled with some colorfull cursing, it came together.

    It’s perfect the one I used to have had brass hardware the leather is the nice brown color and has the wonderful leather smell which is better than new car smell. The hardware looks good and is stamped NobuckLwith patent date and number. All in all a excellent investment now I just have to remember how to install on my rifle?‍?

    Easy to use sling!

    This was my 1st purchase of the leather verison of this Kerr sling. Though a replica, it is a near to a well made Kerr Leather sling as you may ever get. The leather on this came soft & very pliable. The metal parts are also mell made, & even have the name & patent dates of the originals. This one makes three counting the two canvas ones I have. Very glad I found these, so easy to use!
