Although this knife weighs in at around 7.6 ounces, it could be called 'minimalist' . Its profile does not 'accent' rosewood or high tech grips, but rather, simple steel girth with clean lines producing a 5-1/4" blade , 440B steel with flat sides and two angled edges carefully honed for sharpness coupled with looped para cord along the grip. The spine' is 5/32nd", which adds to its heft and blunt hitting force when thrown.... and an 'Excellent Thrower' it is ! Our favorite throwing knife which is just as appropriate for the field, whether used as a hunting knife or utility knife. Para cord, simply enough, is for 'standbye use' in rigging field gear and serves well as the frictional force on the grip. Comes with a black poly scabbard with leg strap and accessory pocket for adding a stone or other item for safe storage. The belt loop handles up to a 2-7/8" wide belt . Overall length is 10". If throwing a knife is in your skill set, you'll love this knife. If you need a sharp knife for prying things open , skinning, cutting, and utility work, this is the knife for you. Don't be confused by the inexpensive price..... After we tested them out extensively & tried to wear them down, we gained respect for the coefficient of material & design making these a great value.... we bought these in bulk and can pass the savings onto you! This is a 'Best Buy'
