Nambu Type 90 Navy

The standard issue flare gun of the Japanese Imperial Navy from the 1930s to 1940s. Originally produced with three-barrels, which later was replaced by this two-barrel version during WWII. The Navy issued version of the Nambu Type 90 is significantly rarer and more sought after compared to the standard variant. This particular example is in an overall rough, used condition due to the pistol grip section of the frame being bent. The bluing finish of the barrel and frame is like new with no pitting or rust. The markings are in excellent condition, with the mum and naval anchor still visible. Both patent numbers are still visible as well. The serial number for this flare gun is "291".
