In service with the U.S. Armed Forces, this is the standard smoke grenade as used since 1942 . Pine Bluff Arsenal has manufactured over 4 million units for the U.S. and for @6 other allies, including supplies currently provided to the Ukrainian war effort. This replica has been made in steel, using an expended original hand grenade fuse (inert). The top and bottom of the 'can' portion can be unscrewed, and it makes a strong secure storage container if desired. Just over 5-5/8" tall and weighs @19 oz. Marked with period WW2 markings and designated as 'yellow' smoke. Completely inert and perfect for display or reenacting. Very limited.

Terrible reproduction
This is an awful reproduction smoke grenade. The grenade body is the wrong diameter, the fuse spoon is sloppy and bent wrong and the paint began flaking off as I removed it from the box. Quality and attention to detail are horrible. This repro is not suitable for display, save your money.
