COLT 1911A1 Model 1927 Sistema Made in Argentina in 1965 based on serial numbers. Chambered in 45 ACP or 11.25mm caliber. Comes with plastic 1911 grips that seem to be replacements. Springs in gun are worn and tired. Frame, slide and barrel all have matching serial numbers, magazine does not match. Barrel is worn but still has some life left. Finish is worn but markings are crisp. See pictures for more information.
Early Argentinian COLTs were supplied by COLT factory, but after several years Argentina started there own production. Guns were produced under COLT engineering teams supervision on German machines purchased in 1930s. Guns were made from European steel. These look and function exactly like original early COLT guns and all GI parts will interchange in them.
Pistol in picture is the pistol you will receive.
As with all surplus firearms they should be checked by a professional gunsmith.
