Colt, “The Right to Keep and Bear Arms” commemorative, cal. .22, Peacemaker Buntline, single action revolver having a 7-1/2″ barrel with the inscription, “The Right to Keep and Bear Arms” inscribed on the barrel and a S/N range of G0001RB – G3000RB.

Action Type: Single Action Revolver with Side Loading Gate

Markings: The left of the barrel is marked “”THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS””, the right “PEACEMAKER BUNTLINE .22” and the top “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. Co. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.”. The left of the frame is marked “PAT. SEPT. 19. 1871 / JULY 2. 72. JAN. 19. 75” with a rampant colt, the bottom is marked with the serial number. The outside of the cylinder is marked “.22 L.R.”

Barrel Length: 7 1/2”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade fixed to the barrel above the muzzle. The rear sight is a square notch in the top strap.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece black and silver swirl plastic panels. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.

Type of Finish: Blue, Nickel, Black anodized grip frame.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. 

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 95% of its metal finish. There are only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes in a wood display case with the operative clause of the 2nd Amendment on a wood plate. Wood display box does have scratches and marks from storage.
