The ARCUS-94 is a licensed production of the Browning Hi-Power. It integrates the proven reliability of the Hi-Power pistols with the ergonomic design of modern pistol tendencies. Slide and frame, made of forged steel milled to precise measurements using computerized CNC equipment. The barrel and muzzle are subjected to post-production tensile strength testing to 4.500 lbs.
The Mark III was another advancement over the Mark II released in 1988, which featured a firing pin safety. The main distinguishing (visual) feature of the Mark III is the absence of the water drain hole below the muzzle on the forward face of the slide.
