This kit includes all the unique BM59 parts and a good condition barrel – all other parts are interchangeable with Garand. Your original Garand op rod will need to be cut back 1/2 inch. Your original Garand extractor will need to be trimmed slightly to clear the magazine. This allows you to get your basic kit at an affordable price and you can acquire the Garand type parts by shopping or trading around but this will let you get your kit started.

BM59E Builders Kit
Got one of these as a base for building a rifle. Parts look good,barrel is very good. 1ME and 1.5TE. Should be a great base for a rifle.

what I got was very good .Kit received missing parts .
kit received was missing the op rod and all stock metal . called cust. support on Monday and was told missing parts would be shipped right out , no word as yet .
