Not up to scratch
This wasn't up to Sarco's usual high standard. Based on the description, I expected it to be in *far* better shape than what I received. There was almost no grease on it at all, and it was rusted solid. It took several applications of penetrating oil, and quite a bit of muscle to get it to move at all. It's going to take a complete disassembly and a lot of wire brush time to get this up to usability. Disappointing.

The product came as expected in Cosmoline with dried crusted paper from decades back. This is expected. However, with all the cosmoline there was still significant rust throughout the entire device, so bad there is pitting. It does function properly, however is not cosmetically appealing. Looks nothing like the represented picture on the website.

In good shape
The linker is all metal in good shape
BUT be prepared to clean the hell out of it lol
Is coated in thick grease
So break out the rubber gloves a scraper and several cans of brake clean
Or some kind of strong grease remover -

Great product. Covered in long term storage grease as expected. Only negative- shipped in packing peanuts They make such a fucking mess
