1911 Stock Rig Conversion Set (Stock/Holster/Barrel)

Its a fun kit. Ive had it for just under a year now. I put it on a tisas 1911. The feed ramp on the barrel was over hanging the magazine so I had to cut it back a little but its fun to shoot.

My issue is that that stock attachment system bests itself to death over time. The tightening screw is bias to the bottom of the grip which causes the top to V out and damage/bypass its slit stops on the grip. Tightening didn't help and the bolt stripped its threads eventually do to how little material there is to grip. Had to drill a higher hole and replace the tightening screw with a bolt/slim nut and area washers.

Overall its ok but Ill replace it with a different stock attachment system at some point

I purchased (3) in early 2020...I have them all mounted-installed and I need (1) more...Just waiting for it to arrive in stock...Holster & Rig set are superb in all respects..NO Junk here folks..!

I was surprised that I didn't have to do any work fitting the handguard and barrel. They both went on with no problem. The stock is quite light weight, so I will probably replace with a beefed up home made stock. One of the screws/bolts holding the stock to the pistol grip broke when I tried to tighten it. I will replace these with heavy bolts/screws. The barrel is a lot thinner than I thought it would be.
All in all I am happy with the kit.

Installed and was very pleased. The stock mount could lock up a bit tighter, but a fun toy.
