World War I U.S. Patton Sword - The Model 1913 Cavalry Service Saber was designed by the famous George S. Patton while he was a junior cavalry officer. Easily recognized by the straight tapered 36 inch blade, black steel hand grip, and web covered wood scabbard. The Patton sword was the last such weapon adopted for U.S. Cavalry issue. Our new made reproduction of this famous weapon is a true copy of an original Patton saber. The highly polished blade bears a copy of Springfield Armory ordnance bomb seal, and 1912 date, and marked on the reverse is "U.S." and "1997" to show date of remanufacture. We have also reproduced the proper canvas covered scabbard to complete the package.
